Well done Ali Coker!  Newly crowned county Over 35 champion after winning his age group at this weekend’s Herts County Champs at Radlett.

And a ‘mention in dispatches’ to Brendan Murphy, who came within a whisker of taking 2nd seed Steve Lloyd to a 5th game in the QFs of the O45s.

John Shaw lost conclusively to 2nd seed Marvin Syrup Rust in the QFs of the O55s.  But at least that meant he was back in time for Strictly.

Don’t forget the 1st home match of the season for our 1st team on Thursday evening. World ranked players at the top of the order. Top county players such as Ali in mid order. Box 1 players at 4 and 5. It’s as good as you’ll see anywhere outside the pro circuit. It’s at our club. And it’s free. Have a drink, watch, enjoy.
