Come down and join us this Saturday 29th May as we open up for a few social events! These include Touch Tennis Tournament, BBQ, the Champions League Final, prizes, games (obviously all within covid-19 regulations)

Touch Tennis Tournament – All Ages

Touch Tennis is played on a smaller court, with mini tennis rackets and soft balls.  The specifically designed ball and unique rules creates a level playing field whereby different ages and abilities can enjoy playing together. As well as being a lot of fun, it’s a great workout and will improve your touch and feel around the court. 

We are running a Singles and Doubles Tournament. The Singles Comp is open to anyone aged 11 years upwards. The Doubles event allows our younger Mini Tennis players to get involved as anyone aged 10 and under can enter with an older partner.

The partner can be an anyone aged 11 years upwards (parent, older brother/sister, grandparent or anyone you know). If you would like to play the doubles event but don’t have a suitable partner, then please contact us and we’ll see if you can find you a partner. 

Time – 4pm to 6pm

Cost – £5 per player

Prizes Include: Babolat Jacket, Babolat Towels and Wilson Tennis Balls, courtesy of Berkhamsted Sports.

BBQ

Isalie will be running one of their famous BBQ’s, with Burgers, Sausages and Claire’s amazing Salads. The Indoor and Outdoor Bar will be open with plenty of cold drinks for those that are thirsty! the BBQ will run from 4-8pm.

Champions League Final & Play Off Final

The club have invested in a new 65” TV, this will be outside and the Championship Play Off Final will be on at 3pm and then followed by the Champions League Final at 8pm.

Charity Raffle

Throughout the afternoon we will sell tickets to raise money for the Harry Faulkner Charity – C-R-Y – Cardiac Risk in the Young, £2 per ticket. At half time we will draw the winners for the following prizes:

• 1 Hour Tennis Lesson - Berkhamsted Tennis & Fitness
