Ladies tennis team are runners up at the County Harris Cup event

Our Ladies' First team defeated Moor Park and Harpenden in very tight matches to reach the finals of the County's inaugural 2 pair knockout competition at Hoddesdon LTC last weekend. 

Anna Popescu, Jenny Webster, Nicola Gallamore and Kate Murphy represented our club at the finals, in appalling weather, but sadly just lost to Hoddesdon by only 5 games – having finished at 2 rubbers all, 4 sets all!  They all enjoyed the event and were proud to be bringing back a trophy for their club.

Thanks also to Judith Alnutt and Farida Korallus who helped to secure the team’s place in the finals.
