Clubhouse Hire

Hold your next event at the Berkhamsted Tennis & Squash Club!

 
We have a large, open plan lounge bar available for hire by members and non-members at competitive rates. 

• Manned bar with late licence option (last orders at midnight instead of 11pm)
• Catering available (please note hirers are not permitted to bring their own food other than birthday cake)
• Weekday and weekend hire
• Large TV screen for projecting photos/presentations
• Space for DJ/band
• Max capacity 120 people

Please note that unfortunately we do not allow 18th or 21st birthday parties and the type of function must be approved by the Club Manager and Bar Licensee.

The Lounge Bar This is a large light and airy, open plan room (10.5m x 6.5m) which has it's own bar, patio doors leading outside, several sofas and comfortable chairs and a 50" flat screen TV with AV equipment. It can easily accomodate a disco/band and up to 120 guests.
Indoor Tennis Centre We have two indoor tennis courts that are available for hire for childrens tennis parties and other tennis events. It is required that all coaching parties use our recommended tennis coaches.  The courts cannot be used for any other activity or sport that has not been previously been authorised.

Catering

We have professional in-house caterers Isalie (also our Bar Licensees) who are available for any type of function, including BBQs. They offer a wide range of options to suit all budgets and obviously have the advantage of knowing our venue and kitchen inside out. Room Hire Rates

The Lounge Bar

Saturday nights are £175 for members, £350 for non-members. Members can only book for themseves or immediate family. All other bookings are at the non-member rate. Please note that a member is classed as a full paying senior member.

• Rates are inclusive of VAT, a cleaning fee and a manned bar
• All weekend evening hirers are required to provide a refundable £100 damage deposit prior to all events

• Some bookings may be subject to an additonal cleaning fee at the Club Manager's discretion depending on the nature of the event.

• Evening hirings are from 7pm to 11pm, with the option for a bar extension until midnight for an additional £50. Set up time from 5pm onwards only. If you require an earlier start time this will need to be agreed on a case by case basis.
• We are a licensed premises and hirers/members are not permitted to bring their own alcohol to the Club. 
• Hirers are not permitted to use external caterers

Terms & Conditions of Room Hire

We strongly recommend that all hirers - especially non-members - have an initial meeting with the Bar Manager to discuss their requirements, view our facilities and ensure that they are happy with our Terms & Conditions of hire.

In order to secure a booking we need a completed and signed Booking Form and a £50 deposit. This can be given to the Bar Manager in the office, by post or email. It is imperative that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions for room hire at BLT&SRC before signing the booking form. For all Lounge Bar bookings we also require a refundable damage deposit of £100 prior to your event.
